What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Prep Technician position at APX Mercersburg?

We are looking for dedicated employees to add to our ever growing team. The right candidate for our paint shop would be someone who:
- Has the ability to lift 50 lbs
- Is detail oriented with ability to follow instructions
- Ability to stoop, stand, bend, and lift
- Forklift exp (preferred)
- Self-motivated
- Mechanically inclined
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on a paint prep line
- Coordinate the hanging of material
- Perform duties such as hanging parts, cleaning parts, removing parts, and wrapping parts
- Clean up work sites
- Visually inspect parts to verify quality
- Responsible to demonstrate ability to learn all the positions in a rotation group.
- Perform all other general laborer duties as needed.
We are willing to train eager candidates for all positions. Pay will commensurate with experience and ability.
