RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure employees follow all appropriate safety procedures and have all necessary PPE to perform their role in a safe manner
- Create and maintain production schedules
- Ensure output meets quality standards
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Improve and maintain a steady flow of material through operations proactively communicating any schedule shortfalls
- Drive continuous process improvement to increase safety, quality and operations performance through implementation of Lean Principles
- Manage operations supervisors to ensure KPI metric boards are maintained.
- Responsible for coaching and development of the operations leadership team
- Full accountability and ownership of your team’s development, trusting employee relations, projects follow up, execution of targets.
- Develop and communicate needs for staffing labor plan adjustments to meet production targets
- Ensure production floor areas are kept clean and organized.
- Actively involved in the hiring, evaluation, and the coaching processes for department employees
- Foster a healthy relationship with employees by treating them fairly and with respect
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Manufacturing experience of at least 5 years
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication
- Excellent organization and leadership skills
- Strong decision-making skills and results-driven approach
- Lean Principles: Problem Solving, Flow, Standard Work, Kanban, SM
