Position Summary
As a Guest Experience Associate, you will play an important role in ensuring visitors have a positive and informative experience from arrival to departure. Responsibilities include assisting guests, facilitating admissions transactions, answering questions, and supporting front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide a friendly first impression of the site.
- Share information about exhibits, tours, programs, and visitor amenities.
- Process ticket and admission sales using computerized payment systems.
- Assist visitors with directions, recommendations, and general site information.
- Accurately manage cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
- Support opening and closing procedures for visitor services operations.
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach while serving a diverse audience.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a high-quality visitor experience.
- Perform occasional duties outdoors as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior cash-handling experience required.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems is helpful but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must successfully complete a federal background check before employment.
