SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for performing various machine maintenance duties to include, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Machine Maintenance:
· Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
· Oversee preventative maintenance schedule and assure scheduled tasks are completed in a timely manner.
· Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
· Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
· Comply with OSHA safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
· Must be able to work extended hours when required.
· Assist with the installation of new equipment as needed.
Facilities Maintenance:
· Responsible for assuring clean room is cleaned according to standard operating procedures on a weekly basis.
· Work with local contractors to assure facility repairs are met (electrician, HVAC, etc.).
· Other tasks as assigned.
Skills:
· Basic computer skills
· Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
· Must have valid driver's license
· Works well under pressure
· Must have the ability to multitask and complete assignments on time
· Strong communication skills
· Detail oriented with good organizational skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. May require long periods of standing. Current shift is Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. These hours are subject to change based on business needs.
Salary : $30 - $38
