What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)- Or- Behavioral Technician (BT) position at APTUS HEALTH CARE?
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in center.
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs
- Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
- Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training
- Participate in team meetings and training workshops.
- Ensure that the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times.
- Follows the policies and procedures of Aptus ABA services.
- Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
Bachelor's in Psychology, (Preferred)
High School Diploma
40 HR RBT Module Course
Experience with Children Diagnosed with Autism.
Must be able to commute to both clinic locations (McAllen and Edinburg) as needed.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 38 per week
