Job Summary:
Seeking full time Machinist for an Aviation Company to operate Manual and / or CNC Machines. This is a first shift, Monday - Friday position. Must be able to interpret drawings, setup machines and hold high tolerances. 3 year's experience required. Machinist certificate and aviation experience a plus.
We are a Drug-Free Workplace Program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret Aircraft Manual drawings and repair procedures.
- Set up tools, fixtures and machines for each part being repaired with minimal supervision.
- Able to make tool and work offsets with each new part being repaired or manufactured.
- Be able to read and interpret measuring tools such as OD Micrometer's, ID Bore Micrometers, Calipers, Dial indicators, Height Gages, Gage Blocks and Depth Micrometers.
- Ability to navigate Mastercam CAD / CAM software or other similar CAD / CAM software.
- Deburr parts with attention to detail.
- Produce final dimensional requirements of parts being machined.
- Maintain clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines.
- Have strong verbal communication skills and works well with other employees.
