The Warehouse Associate is responsible and accountable for:
- Receiving and Off-loading materials.
- Verifying counts to purchase orders.
- Sorting stock materials from job materials.
- Checking shipments for damage, noting appropriate paperwork.
- Ensure all material is placed in its appropriate areas.
- Staging of material for installation, shipment, or customer pick up.
- Assist internal and external customers with pickup and loading.
- Utilizing company specific software, to maintain accurate inventory.
- Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment in safe and effective manner.
- Make deliveries as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with special projects and deliveries as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Warehouse functions (receiving, shipping, delivery)
- Forklift operation
- Maintaining paperwork
- Great customer service
- Computer software (Microsoft, inventory software, etc)
Experience & Other Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items throughout the day.
- Attention to detail.
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance.
- Prior Experience driving a box truck in a shipping/receiving/delivery environment is a plus
