Key Responsibilities
- Implement MCP tools that wrap Aptos domain APIs — inventory, orders, customer, store operations — with typed Pydantic schemas, tests, and clear LLM-facing descriptions.
- Contribute features to Foundry's catalog, testing, and deployment workflows, and to Concierge agent capabilities under guidance from senior engineers.
- Write well-tested Python (pytest, high coverage expected) against FastAPI services, and keep code passing lint/type gates (ruff, mypy).
- Add tracing and metrics to your code (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus) and use Langfuse traces to understand and debug agent behavior.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and on-call rotation as you grow; document what you build.
- 1 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience (or strong internship/project record) with solid Python fundamentals.
- Experience building and testing web APIs (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) and working with relational or analytical databases.
- Familiarity with Docker and Git-based CI workflows; willingness to learn Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS.
- Genuine interest in LLM applications — coursework, side projects, or professional exposure to prompting, agents, or model APIs.
- Strong testing habits and receptiveness to code review feedback.
- Exposure to LangChain/LangGraph, MCP, or LLM provider SDKs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Bedrock).
- Basic Kubernetes experience or AWS familiarity (EKS, IAM, S3).
- Experience with Kafka, Snowflake, or Postgres.
- Interest in AI safety topics: guardrails, PII handling, tool authorization.
