Program Manager
Managed Service Contract (Long term)
Location: Remote (occasional onsite in Redmond, WA)
Role Summary
We are seeking a technically strong Program Manager with an Electrical Engineering, physics, or adjacent engineering background to manage hardware design and evolution of design tooling.
This role will manage design requests, driving execution and leading design reviews, as well as driving expansion, cross-team alignment, and structured rollout of commercial and internal design tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track hardware design requests
- Partner with design and cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
- Plan and manage hardware design reviews and follow-up execution
- Manage automation and evolution of EDA tool infrastructure.
- Lead integration and rollout of commercial and internal design tools.
- Ensure proper tool interoperability (schematic, layout, DRC, simulation).
- Facilitate collaboration across U.S. and Europe-based teams.
- Drive documentation, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
- Resolve cross-team dependencies and conflicts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience transitioning from engineering into Program/Project Management with at least 1 or 2 years of experience in PM.
- Experience with work tracking tools including Azure DevOps or similar
- Familiarity with commercial EDA tools such as Cadence, SPICE, GDS layout tooling, design rule checks (DRC) (not all required any few of them)
- Strong cross-functional communication and program management skills.
- Experience managing technical tool transitions or automation initiatives.
- Preferred experience with custom circuit or ASIC design and design environments.
