Lead Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise Azure cloud infrastructure, security, networking, automation, and migration initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Lead technical teams in Azure architecture projects.
• Manage project lifecycles and deliver enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure security, networking, automation, and migration initiatives are implemented effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep) and Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking: ExpressRoute, Site-to-Site VPN, and VNet peering.
• Experience with Azure security, Key Vault, firewalls, load balancers, SSL certificates, and storage.
• Experience with Azure services: AKS, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, App Service, Function Apps, Blob Storage, DNS, Virtual Networks, and Service Bus.
• Cloud migration experience using Azure Migrate, Lift and Shift, and Azure Site Recovery.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, System Center, Windows Server administration, patching, and monitoring.
• Understanding of hybrid cloud models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and virtualization.
• Proven experience leading technical teams, managing project lifecycles, and delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be willing to work onsite in Montpelier, VT, or Addison, TX.
• Strong technical leadership and Azure architecture experience required.

Salary : $70 - $75
