THE ROLE

As a Part-Time Youth Mentor, you’ll play a key role in our youth services program, supporting youth with disabilities in achieving their personal goals. Every day will be different, making this a fun and fulfilling opportunity for those passionate about making a positive impact.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

• Hourly Rate: $16.35/hour
• Hours: 10-20 hours per week (After-School Program: September through May) 2PM-7PM
• 20-40 hours per week (Summer Program: June through August) 7AM-4PM
• Flexibility: Scheduling tailored to your availability

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide support to youth participants with disabilities.
• Assist during after-school hours (2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) and adjust to summer schedules (7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.).
• Work collaboratively with the Aptiv team to help youth develop independence, social, and life skills.
• Mentor participants one-on-one and in small group settings.
• Teach emotional regulation, coping, and anger management strategies.
• Maintain consistency, strong communication, and accurate, up-to-date documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation.
• Meet the State of Wisconsin’s minimum auto insurance requirements.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, including occasional weekend availability.
