Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP APO/IBP/SCM Consultant to support global supply chain planning applications and their integrations. The consultant will be responsible for application support, configuration, troubleshooting, enhancements, and integration across SAP APO, IBP, ECC, SAP HANA Cloud, Kinaxis, and external systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide SAP APO and IBP application maintenance, production support, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Configure and support SAP APO Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), and Global Available-to-Promise (GATP).
- Support SAP IBP implementations, including Control Tower and Inventory Optimization capabilities.
- Work on Kinaxis integration with SAP, along with interfaces involving Salesforce, Teradata, flat files, SAP ECC, and HANA Cloud.
- Troubleshoot issues involving APO/IBP configuration, master data, transactional data, integrations, and WRICEF objects.
- Perform design, configuration, testing, documentation, and user training for planning processes.
- Utilize SAP HANA Cloud and have the ability to read and debug ABAP code when required.
- Work directly with Supply Chain business teams to understand complex requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications, technical requirements, process documentation, and solution designs.
- Provide global support for SAP APO, IBP, and Kinaxis integrations, including critical production issues.
- Manage incidents, problems, service requests, backlogs, SLAs, and change activities, ensuring timely resolution and quality deliverables.
- Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams, prioritize workloads, and support monthly cutover and enhancement activities.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), ensure change-process compliance, and maintain accurate operational reports.
- Serve as a liaison between the client, business users, and technical teams to investigate problems and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Provide after-hours/on-call support for critical production issues when required.
- Support NALA business/projects and effectively collaborate with NALA stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of SAP/IT experience, with strong expertise in SAP APO and Supply Chain Planning.
- Strong experience with APO DP, SNP, and GATP.
- Hands-on SAP IBP implementation and support experience.
- Mandatory: Experience with IBP Control Tower, Inventory Optimization, and Kinaxis.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud and SAP APO/ECC integration.
- Experience integrating IBP/Kinaxis with SAP and external data sources.
- Ability to read and debug ABAP code.
- Strong production support, SLA, incident/problem management, and change-management experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work with users at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a global support environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- NALA project/business experience is required.
