Job Details
Strong experience in designing, testing, monitoring, and fixing Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
Good experience with Linux networking and routing, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, VXLAN, IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and QoS.
Experience working with Ethernet switches, wireless access points, and cellular or satellite network systems.
Good knowledge of IP networking concepts such as OSPF, BGP, VPNs, SDN, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.
Familiar with networking operating systems like Cumulus Linux, VyOS, OpenWRT, and network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and F5.
Understanding of network security, encryption concepts, and best practices for different use cases like streaming, ISP, and transaction-based systems.
Experience in designing and developing software for complex embedded systems, from requirements to final deployment.
Experience with container platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker Swarm is a plus.
Experince of AWS cloud networking
