Registered Nurse (Telehealth)

Role: Telehealth Nurse (RN) - Clinical Case Educator

Location: Cary, NC 27513 (Hybrid – Onsite 2 Days/Week)

Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Full-Time)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in acute care to join a Telehealth team. In this role, you'll provide virtual patient support, medication education, and ongoing care management for patients receiving specialty medications. Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays as needed
• Hybrid Schedule: Work onsite in Cary, NC two days per week (Wednesday and one flexible day)
• Note: Candidates must live within commuting distance of Cary, NC.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic education and counseling to patients regarding specialty medications and treatment plans.
• Explain medication usage, possible side effects, and answer patient questions.
• Support patients with medication adherence and ongoing treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Identify and report adverse drug events or product complaints when required.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and pharmacy teams to ensure timely patient care.
• Maintain patient medical records and update demographic information.
• Follow clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a compact license or North Carolina license.
• Associate's, Bachelor's, or higher degree in Nursing.
• 4 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and web-based healthcare applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Oncology, Telehealth, or Medication Management.
• Experience with patient counseling and motivational interviewing.
