Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Staff Software Engineer to serve as a technical leader, architecting integration solutions, guiding developers, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise‑scale projects. This role blends solution architecture, governance, and hands‑on technical expertise across SAP BTP and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as strategic advisor on leveraging SAP products and tools.
- Manage technical architecture analysis, design, and development of new functionality and integrations.
- Guide engineering teams to develop, configure, and implement solutions per best practices.
- Ensure technical integrity of projects and alignment across solution components.
- Establish strategies for SAP BTP global account and subaccount setup, governance, and integration patterns.
- Oversee migration projects from platforms such as SAP PO, TIBCO, Informatica to SAP BTP.
- Participate in S/4HANA migration/implementation efforts.
- Implement governance policies for HANA DB usage and manage event‑driven architectures with Advanced Event Mesh.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and utilize Git for collaborative development.
- Lead CAP application development and support integrations with SAP SuccessFactors, FieldGlass, Datasphere, Analytics Cloud, and Signavio.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of SAP hands‑on experience, including large‑scale S/4 transformations.
- Deep expertise in SAP BTP, Integration Suite, API Management, Cloud Connector, and HANA DB administration.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP RAP, CAP (Node.js/Java), and SAPUI5/Fiori development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control.
- Familiarity with SAP FieldGlass, Datasphere, Analytics Cloud, and Signavio.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- SAP certifications in relevant areas are a plus.
