Our direct client (exclusive engagement) is seeking an Observability Lead to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of their enterprise observability ecosystem across cloud and distributed environments.
Role Overview
The Observability Lead will architect and maintain end‑to‑end observability frameworks, build high‑impact dashboards, and ensure real‑time visibility into system performance across mission‑critical platforms. This role partners closely with DevOps, SRE, and IT teams to embed observability into CI/CD workflows and improve operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain end‑to‑end observability frameworks using Grafana, Vector, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric
- Build and optimize Grafana dashboards and alerts for real‑time system health monitoring
- Configure and manage Vector for log collection, transformation, and routing across distributed systems
- Translate telemetry data into actionable insights using Power BI and Fabric Resource
- Implement automated alerts and anomaly detection for proactive incident resolution
- Integrate observability tooling into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps and SRE teams
- Stay current with emerging observability technologies and best practices
Preferred Experience
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Grafana (dashboards, alerts, integrations)
- Experience managing Vector log pipelines
- Cloud monitoring experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Scripting for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Exposure to Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or Datadog is a plus
- Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible
