Aptima’s Strategic Program Office is seeking a Program Analyst Intern for the summer to support financial reporting, data tracking, and performance monitoring for simulation and training programs. How You’ll Make An Impact
Aptima’s Strategic Program Office is seeking a Program Analyst Intern for the summer to support financial reporting, data tracking, and performance monitoring for simulation and training programs. This hands-on role provides exposure to budgeting, program control, and cross-program coordination. You will have the opportunity to support and even own a variety of tasks including the following:
- Assist with financial reports, budget maintenance, and contract tracking
- Develop dashboards in Excel or Power BI
- Assist in analysis and modeling of key performance metrics and using variance analysis
- Work with PMs and SPO management to produce monthly Project Status Reports
- Apply written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members using email, phone, and virtual meeting technology
- Participate in a timely, productive, and collegial manner on a multidisciplinary project team
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Skilled in use of MS Excel
- Familiarity with MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams for daily project control duties
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to obtain a SECRET US Government clearance
- Completed or in pursuit of a B.A./B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with Power BI, DoD programs, or earned value management is a plus
