Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Perform entry-level engineering tasks for our Federal Fuels program that provides maintenance, construction, and engineering services for Department of Defense projects.
- Interprets customer needs, assesses requirements, and identifies solutions to nonstandard requests.
- Review and interpret specifications, drawings, scope of work documents and field data.
- Gain knowledge and uphold industry standards from organizations such as the American Petroleum Institute, National Fire Protection Association, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Concrete Institute.
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services in own discipline.
- Manage and organize approved required documents and information to support the successful completion of project activities/requirements.
- Works on straightforward tasks using established procedures; all work will be subject to review by others.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in an ABET accredited school.
- Ability to use MS Office software, including but not limited to MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills
- Able to work effectively and professionally in both a team and autonomously.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management, project management, and follow-through.
- Ensure compliance with all APTIM and client quality and safety policies
