Job requirements We are seeking a highly skilled AI Data Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in building and scaling enterprise data solutions. This position requires a strong foundation in software and data engineering, AI Engineering concepts along with the ability to quickly learn new technologies. You will work closely with expert platform engineers to design and implement data pipelines, enterprise applications, experience with prompt engineering Location: This position is based in our Lake Mary, FL office as part of a hybrid working arrangement; you will be expected onsite three (3) days per week What you'll be doing: Collaborate with platform engineers to design and build data pipelines, workflows, and applications on a cutting-edge enterprise data platform. Integrate diverse enterprise data sources (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured) into a unified data model. Leverage AI models, create prompts that can train foundation models AI-FDE/ AI powered accelerated development using Python and PySpark Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and application components to support business processes and analytics. Implement security, compliance, and governance controls aligned with enterprise policies. Partner with product owners, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Build AI powered intelligent data dashboards, and decision-support tools within the platform ecosystem. Optimize performance and reliability of data pipelines and platform integrations. Document technical designs, workflows, and best practices to support platform adoption. What we're looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or related technical roles. Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python(mandatory) and PySpark) Good experience in prompt engineering and any prior experience of RAG and training models will be advantage Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational or NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration patterns. Problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly. Experience with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, or similar). Exposure to analytics, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), or data visualization frameworks. Understanding of AI/ML workflows and tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, SageMaker, etc.). Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure as code). Background in regulated industries with a focus on compliance, data security, and governance. Collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams. Highly adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments. An analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership of deliverables.
