We're seeking an experienced Senior BI Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to act as a conduit between the data engineering team and business stakeholders, translating business problems into actionable data requirements and solutions. You will leverage your analytical skills to deliver insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between data engineering and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on data needs and solutions.
- Translate business problems into clear data requirements and actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI.
- Perform data manipulation and analysis using SQL and other relevant tools.
- Provide performance decompositions that clearly articulate what is driving business results and which levers stakeholders can action.
- Provide clear, concise reporting and recommendations to stakeholders in the format that works best for them (email, dashboard, or other).
- Coordinate and track ongoing initiatives, supporting project management activities as needed.
- Learn and adapt quickly to new systems and tools; Salesforce experience is a plus.
Requirements:
- Strong data manipulation and analysis skills (SQL, Power BI or similar BI tools).
- Strong Excel skills, including ability to model (PowerQuery, data models) and reconcile data; manual manipulation is often required.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze problems and present clear, actionable solutions.
- Eye for detail and accuracy; experience sharing updates with C-suite/ELT is a bonus.
- Flexible experience level—entry to manager level considered; SaaS experience is helpful but not mandatory.
- Some project management or coordination experience preferred.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly; Salesforce experience is a plus.
