About the Role

We’re looking for an HR Generalist DACH to join our team in Salzburg or Vienna (hybrid). 

As the HR Generalist DACH, you will play a critical role in delivering day-to-day HR services across the DACH region, supporting employees and managers with compliant HR solutions, and improving HR processes and reporting. 

This position combines hands-on operational HR responsibilities with opportunities to support strategic initiatives such as employee engagement, HR process improvements, and M&A integration, driving initiatives that align with company growth objectives and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities 

• Support the HR Business Partner across a broad range of human resource activities, including employee relations, employee engagement, M&A activities, performance management, compensation, on- and offboarding, and employment transactions.
• Provide administrative support to the DACH HR Team, including drafting contracts, amendments, certificates, and reference letters.
• Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external HR-related enquiries, escalating to the appropriate team member where required.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies and procedures.
• Manage on- and offboarding administrative duties, liaise with key stakeholders, and update employee records accordingly.
• Assist with, prepare, and review HR reports for the HR Business Partner, Leadership, and key stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and draft communications for the Works Council.
• Route HR-related calls and distribute correspondence to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain personnel-related records in both physical and digital formats, ensuring all employment requirements are met.
• Support the HR Business Partner with integration activities related to new acquisitions.
• Liaise with other departments and functions, including Payroll and Recruiting.
• Support other functions as assigned. 

About You 

To excel in this role, you should have: 

• 3 years of professional experience as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist.
• HR generalist experience supporting employees and business partners in Austria and Germany; exposure to Works Council environments and HR operations in a multinational setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
• Strong organisational and time-management skills; excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; high level of accuracy and confidentiality; ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at any given time, prioritising accordingly.
• Proven analytical skills, including the ability to apply a logical approach to develop, test and deliver solutions to problems.

The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is EUR 3,267 (full-time), in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Overpayment and classification according to the collective bargaining agreement will be determined based on qualifications and relevant professional experience.
