Role: CAD Drafter
Location: Conyers, GA
Duration: 3 to 6 Months (Possible extension)
Pay rate: $40/hr on W2.
Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM
Job Description:
What we’re looking for:
This position will be responsible for managing multiple projects including creating drawings for our sales department, manipulating existing 3D models into new configurations, and working with other departments to provide end views for custom data sheets
What you’ll be responsible for in this role:
• Work with CAD Manager and customer service personnel to complete drawing requests
• Create drawings for the sales department using CAD software systems
• Manipulate existing SolidWorks CAD 3D models into new configurations
• Work with other departments to provide end views for customer drawings
• Follow established CAD standards
What are the basic qualifications?
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2 years of SolidWorks drafting experience
To be a great fit for the role:
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and other technical drawings.
• Knowledge of case construction
• Computer skills beyond a basic level: Microsoft Office, 3D SolidWorks and PDF creator
• Ability to efficiently schedule one’s own time and activities to establish a course of action for handling multiple jobs and priorities
• SolidWorks Design experience
• SolidWorks certification
• Pipe Modeling experience
• EPDM experience
• Team Building experience
• Work well in a team environment
• Ability to identify problems
• Ability to bring ideas and solutions to a team
Salary : $35 - $40
