Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced APIGEE Developer to design, develop, secure, and manage APIs using the Apigee platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in API management, RESTful services, microservices architecture, and cloud integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy APIs using Apigee Edge / Apigee X
- Build API proxies, shared flows, policies, and developer portals
- Implement API security mechanisms:
- OAuth 2.0
- JWT
- API Keys
- mTLS
- Configure traffic management policies:
- Rate limiting
- Spike arrest
- Quotas
- Caching
- Integrate backend services, microservices, and third-party systems
- Monitor API performance, analytics, and troubleshooting
- Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams
- Ensure API governance and best practices are followed
- Create technical documentation and deployment guides
