Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Financial Analyst for an Onsite position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Arlington, VA. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role provides dedicated financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support, focusing on stock-based compensation. The successful candidate will manage financial modeling, planning, analysis, and reporting for business organizations, contributing to financial close processes and operational plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide business partner finance support to FP&A leaders for stock-based compensation modeling, planning, analysis, and reporting
• Manage FP&A deliverables for Financial Close, Risk & Opportunity planning, and Operational plans (OP1/OP2)
• Maintain planning calendar and key assumptions that drive forecast accuracy
• Dive deep into financial data and serve as a subject matter expert on stock-based compensation
• Identify trends and patterns in data to proactively address potential forecast issues and recommend remediation
• Conduct simulations to assess the impact of proposed plan changes on Operating Expenses
• Partner with compensation, central science, and technology teams to develop forecast models
• Generate reports, bridges, and supplemental deck pages for senior leadership and board meetings
• Partner with Accounting quarterly to set key forfeiture rate assumptions
• Provide ad hoc support to executive leadership and business finance teams for inquiries around trends and variances
• Review, design, influence, and recommend mechanics that improve forecast accuracy

Requirements:

• Deep experience with stock-based compensation/RSUs
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience with Access, Python, and SQL
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to influence senior leadership
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments

Pay range: Up to $60.66 per hour
