Aptar is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor based in Mukwonago, WI and is fully onsite.
This role directs the operation and service activities of the warehouse, safety, receiving, shipping, order fulfillment and inventory control.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will positively lead a diverse group of office staff and warehouse personnel
- Be accountable for timely receiving, driver management, bills of lading generation, and finished goods warehouse costs, supplies, the quality and quantity of warehouse performance and effective utilization of man-hours, skills, machines, equipment and facilities
- Participate in planning labor requirements and controls related to warehouse and shipping/receiving.
- Supervise effective inventory control and distribution of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods
- Expedite daily schedules, investigate delays and initiate corrective actions to assure total customer satisfaction through efficient procedures.
- Coordinate programs, including but not limited to, 5S, warehouse, and inventory control, such as cost reduction, preventive maintenance, training, staffing, safety, and housekeeping
- Understands and complies with all company policies and regulations. Effectively communicating and administering these policies to all employees
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and coach warehouse personnel regarding absences, disciplinary actions and performance reviews
- Lead problem solving activities, using strong analytical skills and root cause analysis.
- Ability to communicate information effectively to Logistics Manager and others within the company.
- Understands and complies with all safety regulations
- Must be willing and able to perform all functions of warehousing job responsibilities
- All other duties as assigned
Who We are Looking For
A leader who can grow and develop their team. Has basic understandings of FIFO, Aged Inventory, standard warehouse KPIs like dock times, inventory accuracy, and sales. Know how to investigate issues in SAP, as well as perform root cause analysis and other basic CI functions.
Education
- High School diploma/GED, College Degree preferred
Required Skills
- Team lead experience in warehousing, distribution and/or inventory control required
- Ability to be certified on powered industrial equipment
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Must possess a strong teamwork and highly motivated mentality, high energy level, and the ability to work well under pressure
- Must possess strong analytical skills, problem solving abilities and mathematical skills
- Must be a problem-solver, and able to assist with root cause analysis and implement preventative actions
- Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
