- Assist in the design and execution of trials related to injection molding and extrusion film processes.
- Conducts material testing and analysis to evaluate performance characteristics
- Supports the development of new materials and formulations for improved product performance
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met
- Assist in writing procedures for new processes as well as revising and writing new procedures for processes already in place.
- Collaborate with Operations, Applications & Research Development and Quality to meet project requirements and timelines.
- Perform statistical analysis on product data when required
- Participate in FMEA’s and Design of Experiments related to current and/or new products
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Education/Special Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while being detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting & planning skills
