Senior Cobol Developer

About the Role:

We’re seeking a Sr. COBOL Developer with strong experience in mainframe environments and a solid background in EDI processing. In this role, you'll analyze, develop, and support high-volume transaction systems, contributing to the ongoing stability and performance of mission-critical applications.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions, support system enhancements, and ensure seamless data exchange—especially for claims and EDI-related processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• :Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB
• 2Analyze existing systems and business requirements to support enhancements and troubleshoot issue
• sManage and support EDI transaction flows, including file processing, mapping, and validatio
• nParticipate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and change control processe
• sCreate and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, and operational procedure
• sCollaborate with business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions that meet business need
