Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Report Developer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reports and dashboards across multiple platforms, helping the business make informed, data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills with reporting tools and databases, a solid understanding of data modeling, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards from various data sources, including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, and internal systems.
- Build and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards, leveraging DAX for advanced calculations and modeling.
- Automate recurring reporting tasks and data workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into technical specifications, and deliver clear, actionable reports.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting solutions.
- Optimize queries, data models, and report performance.
- Maintain documentation for reporting processes, data sources, and report logic.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with report development across multiple platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, etc.).
- Strong skills in Power BI and DAX for building interactive dashboards and performing advanced data modeling.
- Experience working with finance and accounting teams, with an understanding of financial and operational reporting needs.
- Experience with SQL for querying, joining, and transforming data.
- Experience with SSMS
- Familiarity with data automation techniques (ETL, scheduling tools, or scripting), is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, SSIS, or Python for automation, is preferred.
Salary : $55 - $60
