IT Field Technician
Location: Birmingham, AL
We’re seeking a motivated IT Field Technician to provide remote and onsite technical support for our managed services clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who’s eager to learn, grow, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver remote and onsite desktop and systems support
- Troubleshoot Windows-based systems, networks, and applications
- Manage incidents and requests through ServiceNow or similar tools
- Support Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and related server roles
- Monitor system performance and remediate basic security issues
- Participate in on-call rotation and occasional after-hours work
What We’re Looking For
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Basic understanding of networking technologies
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and travel as needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills & Experience
- CompTIA A or Network certification
- Experience with Windows 10 , Windows Server 2016 , and Office 365
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Entra, and Group Policy
- Knowledge of networking or switching hardware
