DESCRIPTION: Advanced Polymer Technology (APT) is a global provider of acrylic and polyurethane-based products. Our ISO-certified manufacturing facilities create protective coatings for concrete and asphalt; recreational coatings for sport courts, tracks and playgrounds and currently has immediate openings for experienced Maintenance Technicians.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible to work to complete service work orders (SWO) and perform preventative maintenance (PM) checks at the Evans City manufacturing facility as well as a Zelienople warehouse. Your expertise will be essential to keeping production processes running smoothly and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Troubleshoot day-to-day challenges that may occur that limit production processes
· Execute scheduled and unscheduled service work orders promptly to keep operations running smoothly
· Perform preventative maintenance checks
· Adhere to established maintenance procedures
· Handle equipment repairs and installation activities in the facility
· Assist with equipment inventory
· Ensure compliance on environmental, health and safety policies
· Maintain high quality housekeeping for maintenance shop and projects
· Respond to call ins during emergency breakdowns (when applicable)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Four (4) years experience in maintenance or similar role is preferred
· Strong mechanical background with hands-on experience in repair and maintenance tasks
· Prior experience in a manufacturing setting
· Detail oriented
· Understanding of technical aspects of relevant systems
· Working knowledge of facility machinery and equipment, including operation and maintenance
· Team player characteristics as well as independent worker
· High School diploma or equivalent
