The Department of Sociology at Austin Peay State University is currently seeking qualified applicants to join our Adjunct Instructor Pool. This pool will be used to fill part-time, temporary teaching positions on an as-needed basis for upcoming semesters.Adjunct instructors will teach undergraduate courses in sociology, which may include—but are not limited to—Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, Race and Ethnicity, Gender and Society, and Sociology of the Family. Courses may be offered in-person, online, or in hybrid formats.Austin Peay State University is a four-year public, doctoral-level university, with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence.
