The Shuttle Driver will provide reliable and efficient transportation services to all guests throughout their stay.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Greet all guests in a friendly manner, assist guests with entering and exiting the vehicle, and load guest baggage into proper storage area.
- Maintain the vehicles physical condition and mechanical status by communicating any needed repairs to the appropriate department.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and obtain annual inspections as necessary.
- Actively communicate with Front Office Manager and Front Desk staff regarding travel requests.
- Routinely travel to the airport or other destinations within the shuttle’s established mile radius.
- Ensure shuttle has appropriate amount of fuel for travel.
- Report accidents, injuries, unsafe working conditions, and damage to the appropriate manager(s).
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: English speaking, reading, and writing.
- Proficiency using GPS devices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License.
- 21 years of age.
- A minimum of one year of related driving experience.
- Knowledge of workplace and road safety policies/procedures.
- Must be insurable under the company’s insurance policy for drivers.
- Must obtain an up-to-date physical examination from the Department of Transportation.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background and drug test. *
