Position Objective
The Accountant II maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. The Accountant II ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to general ledger. Examines current processes for automation and/or productivity improvement as well as other related special projects.

Essential Functions
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and documents business transactions
- Compile and analyze the monthly consolidated financial statements
- Assist with the monthly financial close process
- Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliation with relevant line-item detail and supporting documentation
- Manage Capital Expenditure process, additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation
- Assist with Capital Expenditures annual budgets and monthly review
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
- Resolve financial problems, perform audits, and analyze profit loss
- Using the highest standards and practices to ensure financial compliance
- General accounting tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in accounting or related field
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Computer skills including high proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Working Conditions
- This position operates in an office setting.
- Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
- This position requires 0-5% travel.
Annual base pay range is $75k to $90k with bonus.
