Accountant/CPA

Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Accountant/CPA in our very fast-paced engineering/manufacturing organization in the energy sector. Working under the direction of the CFO, the Accountant/CPA is an independent, proactive professional, with a focus on managing and overseeing key accounting functions within a manufacturing environment.  This role is responsible for financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting and ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.  The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and cost structures and must be able to manage multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities and deliverables, adapt to new challenges and operate effectively in a fast-paced work environment.

In this role, the Accountant/CPA supports accurate and timely financial reporting, including consolidations, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. This role manages cost accounting, fixed assets, and inventory control within the ERP/MRP systems and provides detailed financial analysis and management reporting. The position also assists with audits, budgeting, and process improvements while ensuring strong financial controls. 

We are looking for a motivated candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred), at least five years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing—proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

The ideal candidate must be capable of managing multiple priorities, collaborating effectively across teams, and interacting confidently with upper management.
