Duct Cleaning Technician

Job Overview:

Dryer Vent & HVAC Air Duct Cleaning Technician

This is a hands-on role requiring strong understanding of air duct and dryer vent systems, proper cleaning methods, and safe equipment operation.

This role is designed to grow into a lead technician position for the right candidate. Technicians who demonstrate skill, reliability, and strong customer service will have opportunities for increased responsibility and pay as the company expands.

Duties:

• Provide high-quality air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning and related services to customers.
• Productively and safely move furniture to prepare the home for cleaning.
• Assist with the set-up and break-down of equipment and work area, accounting for all tools.
• Remove all registers and returns in preparation for the duct cleaning.
• On-site problem solving and good communication with customers.
• Vacuum and clean all registers and returns, then place back in the original position.
• Account for and return all cleaning tools, hoses, etc. to the truck before departure from the customer’s home.
• Complete all paperwork upon completion of jobs, and turning in all invoices, payments, and charges to designated person.
• Adhere to all company rules, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 20 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in air duct cleaning or HVAC services (Required).
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis, use power tools, climb ladders, work in hot and cold environments, and work in small crawl spaces.
• To adequately perform the duties of this job the team member is regularly and routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, use hands to handle controls, hear, and talk.
• The work environment can vary depending on the season and scope of work – employees are required to work outdoors for short periods throughout the seasons.
• Working knowledge of residential and / or commercial construction practices is a strong plus.

• Successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug test (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
