What You’ll Do
As an HVAC Installer, you will handle both residential and commercial installations. You’ll be the face of our field operations, ensuring systems are installed safely, efficiently, and up to the high standards APS is known for.
- Install, adjust, and safely test residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Navigate various job sites, including working in tight spaces like attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Represent APS professionally when interacting with clients and property owners.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of HVAC installation experience (both residential and commercial is highly preferred—the more experience, the better!).
- License & Transit: A valid Idaho Driver’s License is strictly required (our insurance requires a clean driving record). You must have reliable transportation to get to the shop or directly to the job site.
- Must Have experience with driving a trailer with truck to be able to pull equipment safely to the job site
- Physical Capabilities: Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces (attics/crawl spaces).
- Skills: Strong basic math skills (for measurements, calculations, and layouts) and sharp problem-solving abilities.
- Traits: High reliability, great time management, strong attendance, and a team-first attitude.
