Senior Full Stack Engineer (Javascript)

The Role:

We are looking for a talented Full-Stack JavaScript Software Engineer with a winning combination of skills, experience, and entrepreneurial spirit to join our team. You will be developing for Xodo, creating innovative new features, and maintaining our existing codebase. As a software engineer at our company, you will be involved in all aspects of the software development process and encouraged to provide input on future projects and company direction. We strive to continually push the envelope in terms of using new technology and techniques, so a love of learning new things is a must. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work as part of the Scrum product development team, implementing new features and improving existing functionality of the Xodo platform. 
• Engage in all stages of development, from requirements gathering and analysis to high-level design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. 
• Carry out research and prepare technical proposals and demonstrations for new projects. 
• Assist and collaborate with other engineers. 
• Responsibilities commensurate with experience. 

Qualifications: 

• 5 years of extensive experience and proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and React 
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes. 
• Experience with relational databases (Postresql, MySQL).     
• Strong analysis and problem-solving abilities. 
• Proficiency in Docker. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment. 
• Experience with Nextjs and/or AWS is a plus. 
• A degree in computer science or computer/software engineering is a plus.

The compensation for this position is commensurate with experience, with a range between $100,000 - 120,000 USD in on target earnings.
