What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ocean & Air Freight Operations position at APRILE MTO MEXICO?
- Coordinate ocean and air import and export shipments
- Liaise with customers, airlines, ocean carriers, agents and overseas partners
- Organise FCL, LCL and air freight shipments
- Review and manage shipping documentation
- Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates
- Coordinate with internal operations and customs teams
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the shipping process
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ocean and/or air freight operations or customer service within freight forwarding
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures and documentation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
- Good command of English
