The Company
My Client are part of a Global Group of companies operating in the Audio sector containing some of the most prestigious brands in the business. They design and manufacture professional audio equipment that has been used on the sets of Oscar-winning Hollywood sets. Equipment is ruggedized to be able to withstand some of the harshest environments on the planet.
What the Accountant entails
- Prepare and file sales & use tax returns while ensuring compliance across jurisdictions and changing regulations
- Review transactions for correct tax treatment and maintain overall tax compliance
- Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing, reconciliations, credit card entries, and vendor issue resolution
- Support payment runs and cash disbursement processes to ensure timely payments
- Assist with general accounting tasks such as monthly close, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, depreciation, and process improvements
Requirements of the Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with experience in sales and use tax preparation
- Knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
