Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Implement sanitation procedures to ensure all surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas are hygienic and safe.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of carpets through specialized cleaning methods like carpet extraction or shampooing.
• Manage outdoor work tasks including trash removal, window washing, and outdoor surface cleaning to uphold exterior appearance standards.
• Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards is essential.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and detergents is required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas effectively.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
