Commercial Lines Account Executive | Sr. Commercial Lines Account Manager (Eau Claire, WI)Location: Eau Claire, WI70k-80k base salaryEmployment Type: Full-Time | In-OfficeA well-established independent insurance agency with multiple Wisconsin locations is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join their Eau Claire team. This position is ideal for a client-focused insurance professional who thrives on building relationships, managing complex accounts, and delivering exceptional service in a collaborative team environment.About the RoleThe Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for managing an assigned book of business, servicing existing accounts, and assisting with the placement of new business opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their insurance programs are well-structured, competitively priced, and aligned with their business needs.This role requires a high level of professionalism, strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products, and the ability to proactively identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and retention.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Client ServiceManage and service an established book of commercial accounts with a focus on client retention and satisfaction.Prepare submissions and market new and renewal business to appropriate carriers.Analyze, quote, and recommend coverage options tailored to client needs.Provide day-to-day service and support for client inquiries, certificates, endorsements, and claims.Maintain accurate and organized client data in the agency management system.Review policies, proposals, and contracts for accuracy and coverage adequacy.Communicate proactively with clients regarding renewals, coverage updates, and risk management recommendations.Partner with producers and underwriters to negotiate terms and secure favorable coverage.Attend client and carrier meetings as required.Operational Excellence & AdministrationPrioritize tasks and manage multiple client needs efficiently.Follow established agency procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.Document all communications and activities accurately and in a timely manner.Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.Customer Experience & ProfessionalismDeliver a high level of customer service with every interaction, exceeding client expectations.Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment through positive communication with colleagues, carriers, and clients.Uphold agency values of integrity, professionalism, and responsiveness.Qualifications5 years of commercial lines account management or account executive experience in an independent agency environment.Active Wisconsin Property & Casualty license (required).Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, rating, and underwriting procedures.Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently with accuracy and efficiency.Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality client service.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience 70k-80k base salaryHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability insurancePaid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidaysRetirement planTuition reimbursement and continuing education supportHands-on training and professional development opportunitiesMonday–Friday schedule (no evenings or weekends)
