Role Overview:
The QA Manager is responsible for overseeing all Quality Assurance processes within the warehouse environment and for developing and maintaining an OMS system. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, manages QA staff, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to maintain product integrity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with industry standards.
Lead initiatives to prepare the organization for ISO certification, including internal audits and compliance readiness.
- Develop and implement QA policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Oversee quality audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage and mentor QA team members.
- Collaborate with operations and QC teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for QA activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes.
- Establishing and implementing the quality standards for products or services
- Monitoring quality testing and identifying gaps in the testing
- Staying current on laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Overseeing the quality assurance team
- Training other employees on quality procedures
- Handling quality reports and documentation
- Collecting and analyzing quality assurance data
- Working with suppliers to ensure the quality of supplies
Qualifications
Proven experience in developing and implementing QMS frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to prepare organizations for ISO certification processes.
- Minimum 5 years of QA experience in warehouse/distribution or manufacturing.
- ISO certification
- Experience with establishing OMS system
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Minimum 5 yr experience of ISO standards, GMP, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in QA software and reporting tools.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in warehouse conditions, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs as needed.
The pay range for this role is:
90,000 - 100,000 USD per year(Gale)
