Location: Ventura, CA 93003
Position: Medical Office Assistant
Pay Rate: $29/hr
Duration: 13 weeks
Expected Shift: 40 hrs/week
Monday - Friday 5x8 (7:30am - 4pm)
**Potential for Saturday, but would be rare**
JOB SUMMARY
On-site interview
* Prior healthcare, hospital, or medical office experience required
* Spanish Speaking - Required
* Radiology experience - Preferred
* Experience interacting with patients **Must have good communication skills**
* Must be able to be on their feet for majority of shift
* Must be able to lift, push, and pull minimum 50 lbs
* Cerner - may or may not utilize system (some experience or familiarity with system would be beneficial)
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist with escorting patients from the main lobby to Mammography
* Will help the Imaging Tech with any needed scheduling or transport
* Operating a patient messaging system, sending patient reminders
