An aerospace client is looking for an Electromechanical Technician to support the Subassembly Manufacturing Assembly Resource and Test Lab (SMART Lab) assembling and testing propulsion systems.
Location: Redondo Beach, CA 90278 (Onsite)
Position: Electromechanical Technician
Pay Rate: $30.74/hr. - $36.98/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 9x80 A
Shift: 1st Shift
Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
Responsibilities:
• Orbital welding
• Hand TIG welding
• Pneumatic and Vacuum set up and test
• Electrical functional set up and test
• Sheet metal fabrication

- Working lab priority work orders as determined by leadership.
- Mechanically and electrically assemble and test propulsion thrusters.
- Mechanically and electrically assemble propulsion subsystems.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- High school degree or equivalent and 7 years’ related experience.
- Basic knowledge of hand-tool use and safety.
- Mechanical and electrical precision assembly.
- Understanding drawings, work orders, and test procedures.

• Pneumatic and Vacuum set up and test
• Electrical functional set up and test
• Sheet metal fabrication
