An aerospace client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.
Location: Bethpage, NY 11714 (Onsite)
Position: Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $31.60/hr. - $34.60/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 9x80 A
Shift: 1st Shift (Every other Friday off but OT may result in working off-Friday’s or weekends as needed).

Responsibilities:
- To perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.
- Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
- Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
- Uses hand and power tools. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.
- Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide management support, boiler familiarity, understanding and working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building alarm systems.
Qualifications:- U.S. Citizenship required.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications- College would be preferred, but not required.
