An electric utility client is looking for an Electronics Engineer who will ensures technical issues and problems are resolved in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner utilizing available resources
Location: Pomona, CA 91767 (Hybrid)
Position: Electronics Engineer
Pay Rate: $48.91/hr. on W2
Duration: 18 months or longer
Schedule: M-F 8AM - 5PM (Hybrid in office two days a week Wed-Thurs)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures technical issues and problems are resolved in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner utilizing available resources
- Supervises, leads, and coordinates work employees in the execution of new technical strategies, equipment or standards.
- Conducts risk assessments and implements risk mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and reliability of engineering projects
- Provides engineering and technical expertise and guidance for the identification, analysis and resolution of high impact, complex and/or cross-functional problems in engineering
- Ensures the engineering facility design basis is controlled and design basis documentation is maintained
- Conducts engineering and related studies with full technical responsibility for planning and coordinating high-impact complex projects
- Bachelor's Degree must be in a STEM Field.
- Skills in using electrical diagnosis equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Basic networking knowledge and skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience with control panel layout and component mounting (e.g. DIN rail, terminal blocks, relays)
- Skills in wire stripping, crimping, and routing neatly within enclosures
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience in instrumentation and data logging equipment
- Experience in automation software (e.g. LabVIEW, Ovation)
- Experience with energy storage, generators, microgrids a plus
- Professional Electrical Engineer CA a plus but not required
