What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Assembler position at APR Consulting?
An aerospace client is looking for an Electronics Assembler perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Location: Plymouth, MN 55442 (Onsite)
Position: Electronics Assembler
Pay Rate: $25.52/hr on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 3:00PM – 12:30AM
Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
- Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- May conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications.
- May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizen required
- H.S. Diploma/GED
- IPC J-STD-001 Certification
- 1-3 years of experience in hand soldering or assembling electronic components is needed
- 1-3 years in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years in a manufacturing setting
- 5 years’ experience in hand soldering, including inspection, rework/repair, various soldering tools, and equipment.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical documents.
- MES software experience
- Microsoft365 experience
