Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented OT Security Analyst to join our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will monitor, analyze, and triage security alerts to protect critical Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA environments. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor & Triage: Review and investigate security alerts from SIEM, SOAR, and Industrial Intrusion Detection Systems (IIDS).
• Log Analysis: Analyze ICS/SCADA logs to identify indicators of compromise (IoCs) and differentiate between true positives and false positives.
• Incident Documentation: Thoroughly document all triage activities, findings, and escalation decisions within the SOC ticketing system.
• Process Improvement: Partner with Shift Leads to refine detection rules, minimize false positives, and update incident response playbooks/SOPs.
• Compliance & Frameworks: Align monitoring activities with NERC-CIP (specifically standards 2 and 3), NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and the Purdue Model.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a cybersecurity role (SOC environment preferred).
• OT Exposure: 1–2 years of experience working with OT/SCADA environments is highly desirable.
• Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of industrial protocols (e.g., DNP3, Modbus, IEC 104).
• Tools: Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, and IIDS platforms.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Computer Science is preferred.
• Certifications: CompTIA Network , Security , or CySA are a major plus.
• Schedule: Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 shift-based SOC environment, including occasional after-hours support.
