About the Role:
We are seeking a
BizOps Engineer II
to join our
BizOps – Payment Networks team
, supporting the Clearing Program. This role focuses on production support, automation, and operational excellence with critical payment systems.
The ideal candidate will have
strong Mainframe (COBOL/JCL/SORT) and Linux
command-line skills, combined with an analytical mindset and a passion for automation.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage Batch Jobs and Application Processing in a 24/7 production environment.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly.
Analyze ITSM activities and provide feedback to development teams for operational improvements.
Support services through the full lifecycle – design, deployment, operation, and optimization.
Maintain system health, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring.
Participate in automation initiatives to reduce manual toil and increase reliability.
Collaborate closely with developers, operations, and product teams to align business and operational goals.
Practice sustainable incident response with blameless postmortems and continuous learning.
Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across global tech hubs.
Required Skills
Must Technical:
Proficiency in Mainframe (COBOL/JCL/SORT).
Basic Linux command-line experience.
Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, or Chef.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
