Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paramedical Examiner to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical assessments of clients, including vital signs and health history reviews
- Collect and process biological specimens such as blood, urine, and other samples using proper laboratory techniques
- Perform venipuncture and phlebotomy with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques to ensure specimen integrity
- Manage laboratory procedures, including specimen labeling, storage, and documentation in compliance with safety standards
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical data
- Assist with specialized procedures such as spinal taps or cardiac catheterization when required
- Maintain strict laboratory management protocols to ensure quality control and safety standards are met at all times
Experience
- Prior clinical laboratory experience or research laboratory background demonstrating proficiency in specimen collection and processing
- Hands-on experience with laboratory management systems and laboratory techniques
- Knowledge of hospital or healthcare environment operations is highly desirable
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is preferred
- Familiarity with veterinary or pediatric terminology can be advantageous for diverse assessment scenarios
- Experience performing venipuncture, spinal taps, or catheterization procedures is a plus
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to accurately document findings and communicate results
- Strong Phlebotomy Skills
